UNIVERSITY GROUPS
Maximo Nivel works with universities in the United States, Canada, and Europe to organize short-term group experiences from 1-4 weeks, as well as semester-long programs. We work directly with faculty-led groups, student groups, and Alternative Spring Break programs.
HIGH SCHOOL GROUPS
Maximo Nivel works with high schools, middle schools, and youth organizations to offer introductory programs in study abroad, volunteering, and Spanish language. These programs are specially designed for young learners—they are well organized and supervised learning experiences.
FAMILY TRIPS
Maximo Nivel is very happy and proud to host families who want to work-study-travel together in Costa Rica, Guatemala, and Peru. Volunteer, study Spanish, and see the sights—share a unique experience as a family living and traveling together in Latin America.

Every Maximo institute has large common areas, free WiFi, computer labs, and an on-site snack bar with free coffee and tea. LECTURES & WORKSHOPS
Maximo Nivel organizes special lectures and presentations for groups. Topics span a variety of subject areas including: Business, Medicine, Music, Culture, History, and much more. Lectures can take place for as little as 1 hour or over several days. Maximo Nivel also offers Guided Reflection Workshops to facilitate critical reflection and to provide structured opportunities for engagement and learning. Maximo instructors lead group members through the reflection process focusing on the learning and knowledge gained during the in-country experience.
Special Group Pricing
For large groups, we offer our special “11th’ Person Goes Free”, which exempts each 11th person from the base program fees. For example, an 11 person group has 1 free basic program included; a 22 person group has 2 free basic programs included, and so on.
Special Group Leader Discounts may also be available to those natural born leaders out there who take the initiative and pull together interested group members and organize a trip with Maximo Nivel.
