LEARN SPANISH ONLINE
REAL PRACTICE WITH REAL SPANISH TEACHERS
Learn Spanish in small group classes or 1-on-1 private classes with professional, native, Spanish instructors. Online Spanish is an excellent solution for individuals, businesses, and children who can not join Maximo Nivel in Latin America. It is also a great way to brush up your Spanish before beginning your program abroad at Maximo Nivel in Costa Rica, Guatemala, or Peru. Online Spanish programs are also the perfect way to continue your Spanish classes after you return home from studying abroad. Maximo Nivel Spanish teachers have years of experience teaching Spanish to international learners from around the world, both online and in person.
Online Spanish classes are taught live via Zoom. You can choose between small group classes for every level from beginner to advanced, or enroll in personalized private classes. Small group classes can be scheduled Monday through Friday 7:00AM – 8:00PM CST, 2 hours per day. Private classes can be scheduled Monday through Sunday according to your preferred schedule. Private classes are 55 minutes per day. Class times are available in the mornings, afternoon, and evenings.

TEFL CERTIFICATION
GET CERTIFIED TO TEACH ENGLISH ABROAD AND ONLINE
A TEFL Certification course is your first step to teaching English abroad and online. At Maximo Nivel, you can learn to be a professional English teacher, by completing a personally-guided online or onsite TEFL certification course. When you earn your Maximo Nivel TEFL Certification, you have completed a rigorous teacher training course that exceeds all global standards for English as a Second Language (ESL). At Maximo Nivel, we have successfully trained more than 5,250 TEFL graduates since 2004, and Maximo Nivel alumni teach online and at institutes all over the world.
The online TEFL certification is only $445 with up to 6 months to complete the course.
The onsite TEFL certification starts at only $1,295 and new courses begin every month.
The online TEFL program at Maximo Nivel is not your ordinary online TEFL certification. Maximo Nivel’s online TEFL course gives you the theory and the opportunity to discuss the theory and practice with your assigned TEFL Trainer via 10 hours of included tutoring and coaching by Zoom or Skype. You also teach 5 one-hour lessons with a live English student online! Maximo Nivel’s online TEFL certification course includes:
– Official TEFL certificate
– 10 hours of personalized coaching with your assigned TEFL Trainer
– 5 hours of practical teaching experience with a live English student
– Lifetime job-finding assistance
The Online TEFL is a thorough introduction to Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL). During the online course, you become familiar with the principles of successful ESL teaching. The online program includes independent reading, in-book tasks, lesson plans, and focused written assignments. You submit your work via email and your TEFL Trainer provides written and verbal feedback through email and via Zoom or Skype meetings. During the practical teaching module, your trainer observes your online teaching and provides feedback and coaching to help you improve as a teacher.
Other online TEFL courses are simply automated courses that concentrate on ESL theory. This is known as one-way learning, and you miss the interaction with a professional TEFL Trainer and the practical teaching component that only the best TEFL courses offer.

INTERNATIONAL INTERNSHIPS
GET PRACTICAL WORK EXPERIENCE ONLINE
International Internships are available both onsite in Costa Rica, Guatemala, and Peru and as virtual online placements. Maximo Nivel offers a range of internships in both the for-profit and nonprofit sectors. Interns usually work in individual placements, but limited spaces are also available for pairs or small teams.
Interns may choose 4-week to 24-week placements. Enrollment is on a rolling basis year-round and new internship placements begin every Monday.
Maximo Nivel is a local organization based in Costa Rica, Guatemala, and Peru. Our role is to bring structure, organization, and quality service to your internship program. Maximo Nivel’s onsite and virtual International Internship program includes:
– 1 hour/day Online Spanish classes
– 6-8 hours/day practical work, Monday-Friday
– Dedicated internship advisor
– Official certificate of internship work
– Letter of recommendation
– Academic credit available
– Internships available for 4 to 24 weeks
