Maximo Nivel’s online TEFL course gives you the theory, the opportunity to discuss theory and practice with your TEFL Trainer, and you teach 5 hours with live English students! The online TEFL course includes 10 hours of tutoring and coaching by Zoom with your TEFL Trainer. The Online TEFL is a thorough introduction to Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL). During the online course, you become familiar with the principles of successful ESL teaching. Your TEFL Trainer provides written and verbal feedback through the Learning Management System (LMS), email, and Zoom meetings. During the practical teaching module, your trainer observes your online teaching and provides feedback and coaching to help you improve.
The online TEFL course gives you a great deal of independence and flexibility. You earn your TEFL certificate from the comfort of your home or your favorite coffee shop. The online course is perfect for working professionals or full-time students who are unable to commit to a 4-week, onsite course. An online TEFL course is a simple and easy way to start your teaching adventure abroad.

As an ESL institute, we understand the unique needs of second language learners and integrate this knowledge into the TEFL Certification program. TEFL Program participants learn how to teach in a real ESL school! This is an important difference when compared to all other TEFL programs.
ONLINE TEFL MODULES
The Online TEFL course is self-paced, and we recommend you complete the course in 4-12 weeks. Your TEFL Trainer is available for 10 hours of included tutoring and coaching via Zoom. When you sign up, you receive your Trainer’s contact details. During the Online TEFL you get excellent exposure to working with online learning platforms and teaching and learning in the cloud.
You have 6 months to complete all 15 modules in the Online TEFL Program. Participants who do not finish all modules within the 6-month time-frame can extend their program in 3-month increments. Each additional 3-month extension costs $195 and must be paid prior to continuing your Online TEFL.

ONLINE PRACTICAL TEACHING
It is important to note, the Maximo Nivel Online TEFL includes a practical teaching module—making the course completely distinct from all other online programs. Your practical teaching is done via Zoom with non-native learners, and your TEFL Trainer observes and coaches you on each lesson. Feedback is critical to improving your teaching and increasing your self-awareness as an ESL professional.
