VOLUNTEER SERVICE AWARD

FOR UNITED STATES CITIZENS & RESIDENTS

Maximo Nivel is proud to be a certifying organization for the U.S. President’s Volunteer Service Award. Through the President’s Council on Service and Civic Participation, this is a volunteer service award granted by the President of the United States to honor U.S. citizens for their volunteer service. The Service Award is granted to individuals, families and organizations in the United States, and it is based on the number of volunteer service hours worked. Volunteer service may take place in the United States or anywhere else in the world. There are 4 levels of awards, including Bronze, Silver, Gold, and the President’s Call to Service Award, which is the most prestigious of the 4 award levels. Volunteers receive a personalized certificate of recognition, an official pin and medallion, and a congratulatory letter signed by the President.

Qualifications for The President’s Volunteer Service Award

– U.S. citizen or permanent resident of the United States
– Complete a minimum of 100 hours of volunteer service as an individual
– Complete at least 25 hours as an individual in a group that completes a minimum of 200 hours
– Volunteer hours must be completed within a 12-month period
