STUDY ABROAD IN LATIN AMERICA

Business and commerce are truly global and an understanding of management and business practices in the rest of the world is a vital part of contemporary business education. International experience is critical for students who want to do business abroad, and the experience of living and working in a developing country teaches you to be adaptable and open-minded.

Students choose from a range of courses during the Fall, Winter, Spring, and Summer sessions including Entrepreneurship in Latin America, Marketing in Latin America, Sustainability, and International Business Negotiations. Participants can also add optional Business Spanish and other Spanish language courses.

Internships offer excellent experiential opportunities to see and conduct business in an international setting. You gain experience in professional areas such as Marketing, Sales & Client Service, Operations, and Accounting. You might also get involved with market research, data analysis, organizing events, and providing administrative support in English for your colleagues.

Customized programs make the most of Maximo Nivel’s in-country network with visits to small, mid-sized, and large companies. These educational business tours are the perfect way to learn about successful companies and start-ups in Latin America. Students learn how entrepreneurs and business leaders run their organizations—providing excellent insight into successful international business models.

WHAT’S INCLUDED

Why I Maximo Nivel

This was one of the best facilities I have ever seen. I will never forget the care that was given by the staff. I never felt lost and everyone was very helpful. I never felt unsafe or scared. The work and study hours allowed to be able to experience the culture outside of my host family and facility. I have made friends and experiences that will last a lifetime. I really hope to come back soon.
