Study abroad programs are approved for university credit through Maximo Nivel’s official School of Record. The School of Record has approved our courses for equivalency and validated the programs for U.S. higher education credit. The School of Record provides enrolled students with an academic transcript and credits are eligible for transfer into any 4-year university in the United States.
Maximo Nivel’s semester abroad and other university courses are taught in a structured, supervised environment to ensure they fulfill all academic requirements. During your Semester Abroad program, you complete a minimum of 2 Spanish language courses, 2 general education or 2 special subject courses, and a 7-week service learning or international internship program. There is a total of 15 academic credits for the semester. Syllabi for each course is available on request.
Academic credit awarded by the School of Record requires an additional tuition fee of $165.00 per credit hour and a $100 registration fee. The tuition and registration fees for academic credit are paid directly to Maximo Nivel. These fees are in addition to Maximo Nivel’s regular program fees.
